Sevindj Nurkiyazova is a writer, freelance journalist, and documentary photographer from Kyrgyzstan. Since 2012, she has documented life across Central Asia through photography and writing, exploring themes of women’s rights, family, community, and violence. She holds an MFA in long-form journalism from New York University and is based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
